What did you learn from your reading? Summarize the big ideas here.

Diversity matters in Edtech because not all tools, apps and ideas are created equally nor are learners.

The voice of the teacher is critical, teachers should be consulted and their voices have to be confident so that their voices can be heard. The type of teacher will also affect the student learning.

Teachers have to learn for themselves, create an open forum, encourage other teachers to teach what they know, this would help teachers develop into teacher tech leaders.

The type of teachers that affect students learning are as follows: Teach fearless, tech compliant, tech reluctant and anti-everything.

How did you feel about what you read? Talk about how you think you can use what you learned.

I have learned that when it comes to diversity it is uneven. Also people of colour have to make it their goal to share their voices.

In other to grow, I have to be tech-fearless and tech compliant, nothing less - I have to be able to use technology to my advantage.

Being able to join educational groups and sharing will help me to grow.

What questions are you left with? Think about practical considerations for implementing changes.

How do I organize my time so that I can always be in touch with both students and teacher voices sharing globally.

Another practical considerations is being able to create a resource page and maintaining it.
